Nanci Anderson-Mesman - Stylist

Nanci comes to us from Tivoli, New York, where she owned and operated her own natural hair care salon since 2005.  Using Herbatint Natural hair color and Modern Organic Products shampoos, conditioners, and styling products, Nanci built a beauty practice with respect to the health of her clients, herself, and the environment.

Her career began 1989 when she graduated from the Ultissima Beauty School in Manhattan, New York.  Upon graduating, she accepted a great opportunity to study coloring under her mentor Peter Brand, owner and colorist of Town & Country Hairdressers in Long Island, New York.  During this time she studied in many advanced training seminars with companies such as Logics, Rusk, and Goldwell. 

After obtaining expertise in coloring, she began training classes in cutting with the Rusk cutting team.  There she was able to develop her skills in technique cutting with razors and textured scissors.

In 2000, Nanci relocated to the Hudson Valley where she found her passion for natural hair care at the Aveda Salon of Rhinebeck, New York.

In her time away from work, Nanci enjoys gardening, camping, and yoga.  Best of all, she enjoys spending time with her young son, Emmett, and wonderful husband, Ian!

We are pleased to announce that Nanci will be practicing in our studio beginning this May 2009.  She will be using the same natural products that made her Tivoli Salon so wonderful.
